The poor confused yuppy- spawn of Norwich seem to think this is a little bit of London Asian chic washed up in Norwich. But behind the funky sofas, neon lights and bigscreen Bollywood is heartily mediocre food. The waiters are dashing (literally), and while you'll never have an empty glass or plate for more than a nano-second, the downside is you can feel rushed. I had a disappointing monkfish dish, which had been frozen and was rubbery. The vegetable dhansak my partner had was pretty decent, if pricier than in the Spice Lounges' counterparts. And whats with the crockery? Overdosing on its style over substance I didnt know whether to eat of the curious rectangular SP legend adorned plates or stub out my cigarette (thank God for the smoking ban, or that one could have been embarassing.)While ok as a stag or hen do venue, its roo noisy, impersonal and frankly full of early twentiers yapping to make it a pleasurable experience. An ambitious and admirable start, but lets hope they sort the food out before the hype wears off.

My husband’s lovely surprise birthday party was completely ruined by the manager of Delaneys who, in my opinion, is one of the most ill-mannered, abusive, aggressive and nasty women I’ve ever encountered. We were a well-behaved group of people enjoying a party. The bar staff were excellent. The only person causing trouble was the manager. Under previous management I held two fantastic parties in this pub. After my recent experience I will never use this venue again. I’ve only given this a one star rating because this site won’t let me mark them as a zero.

I took my brother and parents to sukhothai after reading their review in urbane magazine. The food is amazing and I dont think I have ever been to a restaurant with such friendly and efficient service.I am taking my girlfriend there next tuesday to their buffet evening. Definitely streets ahead of the Thais in Norwich. 10/10

I stumbled into SPice Lounge last Bank Holiday in a group of ten. The waiters were great - making room for us all and my chicken Balti was the best I've had in a long while.

Although some people freak out sitting close to complete strangers, I don't mind it. So I quite like Wagamama's as a restaurant in Norwich. Oh, and I love noodles!

I went into Zizzi's into Norwich fearing the worst - another chain restaurant in Norwich which had taken over the establishment of Pizza One. But I was pleasantly surprised. I had chicken wrapped with parma ham and stuffed with mozzarella on field mushroom risotto. Came in at about £9.

Sukhothai is simply the best thai restaurant in Norwich and is something of a hidden gem. It's based in Wroxham, so it's a few miles out of Norwich, but it's well worth the visit. Great thai food and excellent service. I heartily reccomend the king prawn curry and duck pancakes. I also liked the fact they served all of the well known thai beers. Nice touch.

I went to lauren Reeves for a hair cut and came out very disappointed. I had a voucher that i recieved for xmas and decided to have highlights with hollie and a hair cut with lauren. I went in and was greeted by a junior who took my coat and gowned me up, i then waited in the sofa 20 mins before hollie came down. Then we went up for a consultation
