The 'Norwich Arts' clientele is a little too weird (or possibly way too cool) for me. |

The Wildman is a classic tale of the sum being greater than the value of its parts. At first sight the pub looks like a bit of a dive frequented by drainpiped-jean wearing Warhol wannbes. This maybe true, but the pub somehow works. Centrally located, with a decent jukebox, the Wildman has the least pretentious atmosphere of any pub in the city centre, probably. In all the times I've been there, there has not been the slightest inkling of aggression. |
